Found by Angela and brought to LaLainya on April 2, 2005, Dixie was more gray than brown!
LaLainya immediately thought of Megan, who had told her just a few days before that she was going to find a brown tabby female kitten to adopt...
(She didn't specify classic or mackeral tabby...so God sent one with stripes AND spots!)
We are guessing her age to be between 10 and 16 weeks
based on her size in comparison to LaLainya's kittens (who were also both found abandoned...)
Even though she is bigger than the other kittens,
LaLainya thinks she may be younger based on her behavior.

These were supposed to be the "Before" pictures...In the bath LaLainya soaped her up 2x because the first time all the shampoo washed off gray. There really was a huge difference!

On April 12, 2005 Dixie was painted with Cotton Candy Pink (which glows under a blacklight)
Wings were painted on her sides. They are not very visible in normal light, but they will probably (hopefully) look really nice in the black light. Also painted were her face, ears, chest and belly. She was very well behaved for her paint job...only complaining when she ran out of snacks.
