The Clubs

The clubs reported that serial nature of Marmalade Boy and Fushigi Yuugi were pulling in fans to Anime Clubs. This was a very important part of the Anime Fan Boom in US.

"Thank you so very much for the time you have invested in this project (Marmalade Boy), as my wife and I have enjoyed the series very much. We have finally started showing this at the Purdue Anime Club at Purdue University, and it is going over very well so far."

Alex

"I wish to thank you again for the part that you have done in helping our club to thrive. Marmalade Boy and Fushigi Yuugi continue to be popular series and it is our hope to have sufficient resources to show copies of this great series to the end."

Derik

"I'm putting together a little 'zine to commemerate the end of Marmalade Boy at our club this February."

Elijah

"I got started when FY was shown at the local anime club (UC Berkeley Cal Animage). They had fansubs that you did, and so I saw your work there. Needless to say, I got hooked...."

"A member of our club acquired from us a copy of F.Y. #1-8 and played it once at her residence at the University. The girls there LOVED the show SOOOO much that they were watching it OVER and OVER until they had to leave residence for the winter holidays.

(They love how Tamahome looks... and how they make men in the show look beautiful... :)) Now, all of them would like to come to Club Anime!!! to watch the rest on the big screen..."

"I thought I'd just write and say that I have collected all of your titles so far, and speaking on behalf of the San Antonio Animations Society as its librarian, we thank you for all your beautiful work. You have done an excellent job in making a great number of our favorite shows into well translated and subtitled videos of superb quality. I haven't seen anything that you've worked on that I didn't like, and there were so many of my favorite shows that I said, "This should be subtitled" and you did. (Marmalade Boy, Hime-chan no Ribbon). This made it easier to integrate some of my favorite shows into our schedules of our monthly meetings. (They probably wouldn't have been watched here otherwise). Once again, I must say that I love you work and hope to see more of your masterpieces in the future."

Daniel

"I want to thank you for the service that you are providing to other anime fans. I recognize that you make no profit from this endeavor and work strictly for the satisfaction that you can give to fans and for the hope that your labors may help provide a market for commercial release of anime in the United Sates and elsewhere. The tapes that I am requesting are likely to become part of the scheduled showings of Animate! Ohio State (a student organization of anime fans at The Ohio State University) during the 97-98 year."
